As a Business & IT Consultant, you will work closely with our ANZ Director and Lead Consultant, both based in Sydney. Additionally, you will collaborate with our expert colleagues from the Netherlands, who will support project execution on-site, ensuring successful delivery of high-quality solutions.

This role is instrumental in implementing Mendix solutions for enterprise clients, shaping the digital future of businesses and contributing to the expansion of CAPE Digital Solutions in Australia.

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of work experience, preferably in a business or IT-related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Affinity with technology and IT (nice to have: programming, software development experience).
  • Ability to think conceptually and abstractly, translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Full-time availability.
  • Sydney-based with the ability to work from our Barangaroo office.
  • Willingness to travel across Australia (estimated 0-8 business days per month).
  • Optional: experience with other enterprise low-code tools.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver custom applications and integrations using Mendix (don’t worry, you will get extensive training).
  • Work within Scrum teams to ensure high-quality results and quick iteration cycles.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions that drive operational improvements.
  • Regularly evaluate delivered functionalities with clients, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with a senior consultant to implement enterprise Mendix platforms.
  • Apply Agile methodologies to respond to evolving client needs and business objectives.
